THE PRESENT FUTURE: Reggie McNeal Event

“As he hung on the cross, Jesus probably never thought the impact of his sacrifice would be reduced to an invitation to people to join and support an institution.”
--Reggie McNeal, Author of The Future Present

You are invited to a special Synod-Sponsored Event that will have you walking--no running--at its conclusion and wanting more! This two-day event will be held on Sunday and Monday, July 13-14 at the graciously offered host location, St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Monona. Reggie McNeal, author of the best-selling, “The Present Future” will lead us in two days of mind bending exploration of our faith and future of the church. You will be engaged in provocative thinking and conversation. If you are looking for inspiration…here it is!

This event is for congregational members, leaders, pastors and staff who care about the faith and future of the Church and will include worship, fellowship, a book signing and a casual, roll-up your sleeves, lip smacking barbecue. A modest registration fee will be required. Discounts are available when registering multiple attendees from your congregation. For more information about the program, please contact the Synod office at 608/270-0201.
